Hi Friends,
I have a word file that contains contracts for many employees in one word file. The count is approximate 320 and more.
My concern is that each employees contracts do not have the same number of pages. So as an example - Employee 1 would have 13 pages and 2nd employee would have 15 pages in the same file.
I need to extract each employees contract and save them individually.
Suggestion - Each contract 1st page starts with a small text line stating "WITHOUT PREJUDICE & SUBJECT TO CONTRACT". Can we build a macro that would
1. Search for "WITHOUT PREJUDICE & SUBJECT TO CONTRACT" statement and mark this page as the 1st page to extract
2. Search for the next "WITHOUT PREJUDICE & SUBJECT TO CONTRACT" statement and extract the pages from my Point 1 above to a page before this next "WITHOUT PREJUDICE & SUBJECT TO CONTRACT" (i.e. delete the pages from the original document once extracted and saved)
3. Now mark the 2nd "WITHOUT PREJUDICE & SUBJECT TO CONTRACT" as the 1st page and on on...
Note - I would also like the headers and footers to be copied too..
Any help (I'm using word 2007) ??? As I have a client deadline tomorrow![]()
