Scenerio: I must create a "word" index for multiple documents each week. I foresee a time when I'll have to do this with no less than 5 large documents on a daily basis. Eventually I would like to show page:line for each occurrence of a word. I have tried a couple of scripts already. I am much better with Excel than Word and this has me stumped.
The following script is what I have been using to acquire distinct words:
I can take this list, convert to a table, add a column, copy / paste, delete extra colum and I now have a concordance.![]()

ISSUES:
No exclusion list. I have tried multiple methods but have thus far failed.
I would like to declare a string such as this -
And remove such words prior to printing to the new document. That would at least eliminate one step in my process.![]()

I have found no examples of how I could capture the line number for the index.
The reason it this will eventually be necessary is that page:line is the standard for the courts.
Transcripts are 25 lines per page and have a min / max pitch number. Text is imported into a template for proper formatting before I even begin to run scrpts.
