problem with mailmerge

Hi everyone,

Im working on a macro that will run a mailmerge in WORD and find the record from the field ID , this number should be coming from a textbox in a userform , the problem is that this field require the input to be a number , when i change the field in the code to say last name or anything else that requires a text it works without any problem , but once i input a number the word hang without any error or anything ,

Hi houbal,

Your problem description suggests your ID field or textbox contains something other than just the numbers - perhaps spaces or other characters that result in FindRecord not locating the records concerned. In any event, since it seems you're only outputting one record at a time, I question the need for using a VBA-driven mailmerge to do this. You could do it just as easily or more so with VBA alone.
