    Viewing tables in word

    Hi All,

I have inherited a very large word document and part of this is done in tables and part by formatting. Is there anyway I can view all of the tables which have been created?

    Thanks

    Katie

    Hi Katie,

Other than scrolling through the document? You could use F5 (Goto) choose 'Table' and enter a number to go to a particular table. Of course, that means keeping track of where you're up to. Alternatively, if your tables have a heading row with a paragraph formatted in one of Word's heading Styles, you could create a Table of contents based on just that heading Style and use that to navigate to/from the tables.
