Hi,
Is it possible for MS Word document to change the date automatically every time (every day) it is opened? How can I manage this? Do I need a special application for doing so?
Thanks

If you want the date to be in header or footer you can do this...
Click on View...
Select Header / Footer...
A small toolbar will open
In that tool bar you can see a clock icon .. click on that .. it will keep on updating the time.

Go to Insert > Date & time and check the update automatically box

You need an auto-date field. Do this:
In versions of Word prior to Word 2007:
1. Click where you want the date to appear.
2. Click the Insert->Date and Time menu item.
3. Check the Update Automatically checkbox.
4. Select a date format.
5. Click OK.
In Word 2007:
1. Click where you want the date field to go.
2. Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon.
3. In the Text group, click the Date and Time button.
4. Continue as in Step 3, above.
Hope that helps.

Probably could also do this by vba and use NOW()
