    We, the Greeks!

    Hello from Greece.

Most of you (especially Europeans) would have heard about the situation in Greece, all this time and will have formed some picture (probably not good) for us Greeks.

On May 6, will be National elections in Greece.

We are inviting from those who destroyed our lives, the ones who poisoned the future of our children, they are inviting us to elect, to save us.

We live in the supposed homeland of the Republic.
Our choice is to choose among those we have destroyed and those who know that they can destroy us!
Let's vote, putting the knife to our throat.
Τhey are told to us. Or come to kill you or suicide!

Just yesterday, a young fellow who lives and work this season in the U.S.A, climbed to the Internet, a short video that describes in very good English, how young people feel (and we older) in Greece, at this time.

Please too, take 2 minutes of your valuable time and watch this video.

    http://news247.gr/eidiseis/koinonia/...a.1746150.html

Any comments (positive or negative) you are welcome.

It is very interesting for me to learn how they think, not the Greeks for us Greeks and Greece.

Thank you very much for your time.

    Re: We, the Greeks!

The fiat monetary system creates unbalances by default. As long as we are slaves to the monetary system, there will always be inequalities amongst the 'elitists' and the rest of the human race. I remember watching the Greek protests (for which my mainstream media corporations called riots) last year on the youtubes and it bothered me how your government treated its people. It seems that protest, whether it is peaceful or not, is becoming more and more illegal and that should definitely not be the case. If you don't agree, what do you think would happen to a peaceful protest if a government sent in a full police force to physically stop the protest? Why, a riot would start (and I think 'they' know that and will have no problem instigating a riot). The occupy wallstreet was a good example of police attempting to instigate the protesters. There is too much offsetting power amongst the world's top elites and sometimes I am cynical regarding the future of mankind because of this power. The base of this power is the monetary system and the laws are in place to protect it once it is in the hands of the corporation(s). What can we do about it though? 'They' don't allow protest against their controlling ways. 'They' work without concern for those that are 'beneath' them in stature because after all, those that are under them are nothing.

Personally (and this may make me sound way out there crazy), I would love to live in a world where we didn't have to have a fiat value for self-worth-acknowledgement but that will never ever happen. 'They' would never willingly give their fake money and power for the betterment of the human race.

I don't profess to know the exact problems you and your people are facing but I do know that International loans will not make your problems go away. Maybe I've read too many books (or not enough) like "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins and have watched one too many Youtube videos and maybe my view is slightly skewed but it saddens me that our world is in this state. And, as I straddle the fence of hypocrisy(which we all do like it or not), I'm going to keep increasing my own value in this lifetime so that I can be 'successful' while moving up the hierarchy of life.

As for your elections, good luck with that! However, I see politicians as the means for elite corporation rulers to enforce regulations and implement laws all in the name of protecting profits, and it doesn't matter if you are left, right, or centre in these regards. Good luck Fotis.

    Thank you for your comments.

...Yea, well, I doublt that is all other people fault
Did i (or in the video)say something like this.??

Of course first of all is OUR fault.

I said to my first post.

...We are inviting from those who destroyed our lives, the ones who poisoned the future of our children, they are inviting us to elect, to save us.
It's your right to believe that All Greeks are same....

If our politicians didn't do all these, now we would be Ok.

There are no doubt a lot of people that are at fault regarding their economic problems in the last few years. Those welfare cheats that you mention are everywhere where there is a form of National welfare. There will always be people that try and get free money and they'll spend crazy amounts of time to find loop holes to get that money. These sorts of actions (blind welfare cheats), while contributors, account for approximately 111 million euros out of their approximate overall debt which upwards from from 200 billion euros. What is that, 0.05% of the problems come from fraudulent blind claims. That's hardly the issue imo and can be dealt with on a person to person level. As for benefits for showing up to work? Now that seems silly and I don't understand the logic of that, other than people don't want to work so you have to give them incentives on top of salaries which I do not agree with. In saying that though, if you were offered financial incentive just to get you in the door, would you say no?

Some real silliness to ponder: Do loans (at interest, which is debt) really help to reduce debt? That theory seems like an oxymoron imo but yet it is widely used as a solution to financial problems. I know that on a personal level, if I had say one credit card maxed out at $10,000, and I got another credit card to "help" make my minimum payments on the first card, I would always be in debt on the first card as well as now I would have more compounding debt on my second card. That doesn't make any sense what so ever but yet that same type of theory is applied on National levels. This is how the Economic system works, create fiat money, sell it with interest, and then control it. There's no winning except for a small percentage of people at the top of the economic food chain.

    My 6 pennies.

Just now, my son translated to me, what you wrote(As you know, my English, are poor....).

I also believe what you advocate and also how we Greeks, we are the guinea pigs for them ...

Soon I think this has already begun across Europe at least, would have the same problem ..

And then let God help ...

We are not Greeks, the "black sheep" for all of Europe ...

Who are you referring to Fotis? I'm not indicating that the Greeks are guinea pigs. What you are facing in Greece is slowly happening all over the world. Money doesn't work for most.

    Re: We, the Greeks!

I get this! Here in Canada, our federal government has been cutting positions across many departments throughout the Bureaucracy in order to balance their books. Seems like an action that is good to "trim the bureaucratic fat" that bloats our government. However, at the same time that they do this, our government has no qualms with spending upwards to $30 billion on fighter jets. WTF? I guess we need fighter jets! While I don't know the actual numbers as far as the positions being cut and their cumulative salaries but I can guarantee that they do no come anywhere near $30 billion. These actions will only put our country more into debt which will eventually and in turn increase the tax load on the lay people. If we keep these kinds of practices going, it won't be long before we are begging the World Bank or the IMF to "bail" us out too. It's a vicious fricken circle and I am despising what I see with everyday that my life ticks away.

    Re: We, the Greeks!

I'll tell you one example, just what you say.

We, Greece, we had an order (which for many years compel us to give the USA, France, Germany and others, selling weapons to buy 'guns) - What to do? Not I know!

With all that the situation in Greece, 3 months before the defense minister said, we can not accept the order, because:

    1) We do not need these. 2) We have no money to pay.

Our partners in the European Union not accepted and we are forced to "buy" these weapons

It will simply pay for another 50 years ..

This reminds me that many years ago a friend of mine applied for a mortgage, and was told by the building society that they felt his income was not enough to support the payments. In other words, the risk that they might undertake was too great. So far, so good, so prudent, but then the BS said that however they were prepared to give him a mortgage, but at a rate 1% higher than their normal lending rate. In other words, they were saying that '... we don't think you can afford the repayments on this loan, so we will only give it to you with higher repayments which you are then less likely to be able to afford'. So they were prepared to take the long term risk for the short term gain, no wonder we are in the mess that we are in.

    Re: We, the Greeks!

@Bob, my brother-in-law was put in a very similar position where it wasn't a bank that gave him his mortgage but a private loaning company based in a city that is nowhere near ours. His interest was 4 points higher than the national average which only increased his payments. Yes, he was high risk (just coming off bankruptcy) so no banks would touch him but now, 5 years later, his mortgage is up and he is in the position to shop it around a bit. He, like so many others in his position has missed some payments in the years and that is where the loaning institutions really make their dough (late fees, bouncing fees, and the sorts). We've come to the conclusion that a person that isn't necessarily in the position to always pay is the best customer because of the extra Bull Sh$t fees. There's so much wrong with the monetary system and there will always be something wrong with it because it is designed that way. On a personal note, I'm 38 and my life is only just started to come together as far as success goes because of my university efforts and my work ethic. I am making more money now than I have ever made and the loaning institutions have taken note because I am being offered crazy credit all the time. I just accepted a Visa for the first time since my early 20s because my family and I travel more now and a card makes sense. I'm in the monetary game with both feet now and it is leaving more of a bitter taste than it ever has.
