    Wink Ok I admit it!

Since 1982 I have been fascinated with computing!

Having hacked my way through 8bit basic and 6052/8086 assembler, and reverse engineered all kinds of code over the years, I turned my attention to the more sedate world of Excel!

This is why you note my code doesnt have variables with types before them sMyString, Infact my assembler coding makes me want to use variables called 48912 or 65412! I keep telling myself I should use the standards, It will make me better, comments are good!

But at the end of the day "I Make **** work", I solve problems when they come up and I research what I dont know!

Excel is easy after making IBM software run on an apricot, interrupt driven software to move screen memory on the fly is hard!

I wish back then there was an internet, and excel forums, even online help! There was none, you learned by trial and error, you stole code, you reverse engineered it!

Nowadays I program infrequently, I look for challenges in the forums, so thank you ExcelForums for making my boring life a little less boring!
    Regards
    Darren

    Update 12-Nov-2010 Still job hunting!
