    Do you mean that thing that looks like a vertical bar?

    If so, if you click and drag it to the left, it creates Window...

    There is also one for rows at top right corner....
    Where there is a will there are many ways.

    I thought about those but they are visible in normal view as well.

    ok i solved it its the on/off button for my monitor
    well i didn't say how far below did I !.
