It depends what I'm doing, so I can't give a precise answer. Why do you want to know?

I generally use CTRL C/V, my fingers are pretty quick at it
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

sorry you're right I was a bit unclear there, so I updated the title. Mostly just curious how the numbers would fall out... and how peoples background lead them to choose one over another. Mine was a hold-over back from DOS edit and my fingers never really got the hang of these new shortcuts (yes I SHIFT+DELETE too).
If it'd make you feel better using my answer because of my street cred, then you can go ahead and clickAdd Reputation below to improve it.
It still depends what I'm doing, whether in Excel or not. I choose the most expedient method depending on the task in hand.
Only in VBA.
I’ve basically rubbed a mirror finish into my “Ctrl,” “C” and “V” keys over the years. I never learned to type the “right” way (though a more furious hunt and pecker you’ve never met; playing the piano for +20 years has given me a recklessly efficient dexterity that I’m told is a sight to behold,) but when I sit at my keyboard, where a “proper” typist might default to the traditional home row, my left pinky and index fingers default to “Ctrl” and “C” respectively, regardless of what I’m about to do and whether or not it involves Excel.

Almost always Ctrl-C/V

There are 10 kinds of people in this world... those who understand binary, and those who don't.
oh i handn't thought of this, but some of those fancy keyboards and mice have macro keys. I wonder if anyone has copy/paste set to a specific mouse button?
I do option 2. Didn't know there were other ways.
Right click -> s, s
To access paste special menu.
Then usually v or u enter.
More option like, v then d (add value), v then e (transpose).

@CK76, nice. You could lose the mouse altogether if you put paste special at the head of your QAT.
(alt or /) then 1 then ...
although I do paste value so much I mapped that one to CTRL+SHIFT+V via macro
ok, so I really did an enhanced paste value for ctrl+shift+v as it suites my general usage better; where the macro 1.paste-value 2.paste-formatting 3.paste-comments all with skip blanks on. I use it: to move a range of formula calculations to a range of values and still preserve table formatting and comments, when I'm just overwriting a formula range with its own values, and to consolidate multiple columns with blank sections into one column.
edit: plus I kinda made it before pivot tables had a convert to range button
CTRL + C/V
Almost exclusively.

Although often Ctrl + drag range.
Old habits die hard: Ctrl-C to Copy, Alt-E, S, V (or F, or U, or...) to paste special...
