Would it be asking for too much to have an admin/tech team member comment on this issue?
Apparently so.

It would be nice to get this fixed.
In a long thread a lot of times you can't tell who is responding to who in linear display mode.
But, if you switch to threaded display mode you can see who is responding to who (most of the time).
Sorry for not responding sooner, just seen this now - will pass it along to the TT, Tony
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Yes, pass it on to the recycle bin along with all the other things that don't work so it too can be ignored lol
Hi Philb1
Everyone ( who is still here ) feels the frustrations, I guess . But there appears to be some Policy change. Check out the stickies and first few Threads in the Water Colors and Suggestions for Improvement. You will see that there are at least some more appearances and responses from Tech Team / EF Management. / Admin in the last few weeks. I Guess a response might be forthcoming here... may be.

( BTW. Just curious. What is a Threaded Mode, ( or a canned Reply for that matter. ) What do they do ( when they do ) ?
Above the first post on the page is a menu bar. One of selections is Display.
There are 3 options:
Linear mode
Hybrid mode
Threaded mode
Linear mode is when the posts display like this:
Post 1
Post 2
Post 3
Post 4
Post 5
Threaded mode is when the posts display like this:
Post 1
------Post 2
------------Post 3
------------------Post 5
Post 4
In Threaded mode you can see who is responding to who (most of the time).
I don't know what Hybrid mode does, never tried it.
Canned replies are replies that you make on a routine basis.
Instead of having to type them in every time you can select them from a drop down list and they will be inserted into the post. It's a nice time saver.
However, you need to attain a certain member level to get this benefit. I'm not sure what that level is.

Hello Everyone,
We had forwarded your concern to the tech team and it must be working now. As far as what we heard from TT is that there are some compatibility issues with the recent version of vBulletin and PHP due to which we are facing such problems.
However, the TT is trying very hard (as there are other problems as well to look around) to resolve this permanently.
In case if you feel that this issue is still alive, please feel free to let us know.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Team Excel Forum
P.S. In case you do not hear from us on your problems in 2-3 working days, feel free to write us at admin@excelforum.com or you can also reach out to Anil Dhawan at anil.dhawan@digitalwebsolutions.in

Tony, can you see if that problem is still there? I have been informed that it has been resolved?
