Hi,

Sorry I was unsure of where to try and post this in the regular forums so I thought I'd try in here. Basically I have found some Python code that I would like to see what numbers it comes up with (but where I don't do the Python thing - didn't have a clue where to start and wondered could you put in like a Macro?). I have found a workbook for doing tennis probabilities (http://strategicgames.com.au/index.php?p=1_14), but read about Courtsiding on the 538 blog a couple of weeks ago, http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/...ennis-betting/ which led me here http://summerofjeff.wordpress.com/20...tennis-markov/ - and basically I am just keen to see what kind of numbers the model comes up with. I was just wondering was there any way of effectively compiling (I'm not even sure if that is the right term) Python code in Excel (as I can get the data to put in, I just couldn't figure out what to do with the code and just wanted to see how it compared to the other model).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
