I noticed this also and sent a Contact Us message. Unfortunately the masking ** the characters also masks what you are trying to show in your post.
It appears that the letter "o" immediately followed by the letter "f" is being masked. I thought it was just in thread titles but it may be in all post content. Here is the first one I noticed but there are at least three threads in the last 12 hours with this problem in their titles:

I would d**f my cap to anyone who can solve this problem that is **ten frustrating. Meanwhile I'm **f to review more new threads.
Thank you for your participation in this problem.
Question is, how do we get it solved?
I have even asked Leith Ross for his assistance, lacking personal contact details ** the "Big Guns" ** this Forum.
Just maybe, the so called "Tech Team" is totally missing the bus!
** course you will understand that it totally peeves me **f!!!
Kind Regards.

Sad thing about this that even VBA commands like Offset are being retricted to this to read **fset.
Masking the first f with BB-Code will help (either colour or bold, italic or underline should do fine). The first occurrance of the mentioned command was explicitely being marked with black colour.
Ciao,
Holger
Holger thanks for sharing that trick.
Unfortunately this is not the solution in the problem.TT??!! is away.... There are-until this time-4 threads for this problem.
Is anyone hearing us??!!![]()

@ HaHoBe,
Hi Ciao, A.K.A. Holger,
Sorry my friend. I just could not resist the above, since many users think your name is "Ciao".
I truly believe that you came up with an absolute BRILLIANT!!! solution for the interim, but the Tech Team has to solve this unwanted annoyance!
Best Regards
Thank you Fotis1991,
I agree with you!
But in the meantime I shall use Holger's "Trick".
Kind regards.
Hi, Fotis,
there should be a substitution list which may be available via Admin Control Panel (but I have no knowledge how things are managed in vBulletin 4.x). If the TT has encrypted it in a script only they would be able to take those two letters off the list. DLL has taken notice of that problem in another thread (there愀 another one in the Water Cooler about the same subject). Sadly this doesn愒 only apply to new threads but affects the old ones as well.
We actually hear you, maybe let愀 start to chant (okay, maybe all jump into the air on 3: 1, 2 ... ... there was something I wanted to say?!?)
@Winon:
I found it frustrating that a VBA command was masked by asteriks and passed on by mail to a user - I never would have suspected a VBA command to be necessary to mask. The more things change the more we need to go back and remember solutions we foudn in earlier days...
Regarding Ciao:
not the worst name people may choose to address me - the ratio between Ciao and Holger being almost 1 as I used it on most of my posts.

I was going to post this anomaly, but I see that I am the tail ** the dog, with the same substitution problem everyone else is experiencing.
Lewis
NOTE: This problem affects old posts too. All my old posts going back to last year contain the same '**' instead o f 'o' and 'f'.
