ok this is getting out of hand now.
I have just tried 4 times to close repeated posts (from PERE), and each time, it takes ages to do anything and i end up getting disconnected from the server...amd whjen I get back on, the posts still have not been closed.
Any-one else thinking of calling it quits on this server for now?
(hmm ok, I'm going to copy this, so I dont have to re-type when I loose connection again!!)

Twice twice today i have been disconnected, refresh and I have to log in again all the post I have read are now unread!!! After the third time went elsewhere, came back after 1.5hrs logged in, all the posts read. Now I don't know what is read or what is not read!!!
Either send this so called tech team on a course or "Sack them and get someone in who can do the job". Also maybe send them on a "Etiquette course" so the can at least put on the home page an "apology that the site is experiencing difficulties" or something along those lines.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. The server has been acting very bad today. The tech team were constantly working on it and even attempted to put a notice up. It gets better and then bad again....

As far as I know a server was not in Darwin's list of species. A server doesn't 'behave' badly or otherwise.
A server is 100% percent controlled by men. So they are the only ones (groups) to be blamed for 'bad' behaviour.

Been disconnected again, log back on again all the post I have read are now unread.
Did the tech team unplug the wrong piece of equipment, so they could plug kettle in for their tea!!!!

We all faced this issue for a few minutes. By the time the team puts up the notice, the site was up and running.
Well its just happened again at 15:17!!
Did anyone face any issues during the forum backup process today?
