Perhaps you've joined a special new user group. Or maybe it's another unwritten rule. Nice to see an Excel forum singling out an Excel MVP for such special treatment.
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.
so, Arlette.. is this another one of those... "oh, I don't know what happened. I will get the tech team to review it"... moments? I hardly think it is coincidence. Treating Microsoft MVPs the way you guys do on a help forum for Microsoft products is very unnerving and irrational. I suggest you get your priorities straight tech team! They certainly are not as of now!
Where there is a will there are many ways.

@nbvc
You are assuming it's deliberate.
Until there's a comment confirming or denying your implication then might I suggest it's imprudent to speculate.

I checked your profile in the ModCP and it shows your profile picture and avatar just like they used to be. Can't say I know what setting would allow it to exist yet not show up in posts, though.
Maybe the "tech tean" don't know what Excel MVP is
Hope that helps.

Well, if it is isn't deliberate, it sure is an extreme and unlikely coincidence... imho.
Paul, thank you for checking. I doubt it's a setting that can be changed by a moderator.
I see no option to set or change either the avatar or the profile picture and both are no longer displayed.
Arlette, it would be nice to get some input from the people who can change the settings.
I agree with NBVC. No-one else has a problem & giving the targetting of Teylyn because she voiced her opinions about the Forum quite vigorously recently, I too find it a coincidence . It never happened during my period as admin.
Bump.
Can I please have some response from the administrators?
Teylyn,
I have asked the tech team to check into this. Should hear from them by tomorrow.

Teylyn,
Your avatar is back. No one had touched your profile settings, its possible it got de-activated when you were banned and it didnt get restored on its own once your ban expired.
Thanks Arlette.
