Report icon in posts

Hi forum users,

Many pairs of eyes have been on the same post at the same time and thus we have found that the same post was reported by multiple users. To avoid this double / triple work, it was suggested to remove the "report post" icon once a post has been reported.

Hence, going forward, you may find that the triangle below your post is missing. Do not worry about it. It just shows that your post has been reported to the mods for any of the reasons like missing code tags, poor thread titles, etc.

I thought that reporting posts was only meant as follows : "This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts." not for denouncing...

It can be used to report any type of issue, Pepe. Anything that should be brought to the Mod team's attention for review - including any rule violation from code tags to abusive behavior.

Ah, now I see what you're referring to. I'm sure that text can be changed to include rule violations in the phrases file (hopefully still applies to current vB installations).
