Edit posts not working

It is possibly also slightly affected by Post size.
I often Post large Posts.
The problem occurs so often with me that I use the work around as standard :

_ - Basically the work around is:
you Hit Reply With Quote ,
then copy all from between the Quotes ,
then abort, ( Cancel )
then Hit Edit.

If then the problem crops up and you are then faced with a blank screen you can paste what you have in. Occasionally you also get a weird screen after Hitting Reply With Quote, but not often . - If that does happen, then abort and try again. Eventually it always works. The only problem is that you lose any quotes that you had in the original Post.
Otherwise this workaround has never failed me.

Edit: The problem has been around for ages. I do not think it is a result of the problems yesterday. We have frequently had problems over the last couple of years, sometimes more, sometimes less. This Edit problem has always been constantly there for me though out the last couple of years

If you reply to this or any of my Threads I can check to see if the Email Notification problem has sorted itself..
