Cleared the cach2, restarted IE11. The Edit Thread Icon just spins...
I CAN edit posts in Chrome...
Tried to edit Post #4 to correct spelling...no go...
Are you using the Compatibility mode in IE?
Yes, I am. Now, when I click on edit I get nothing...just no response...
Hmmm, i dont know why its only IE which gives us all these problems.
Would it be easier to use another browser?
As we speak I'm using Google Chrome...I don't typically use it because of their File Download approach...
This issue (with IE) only came up in the last two days...
I've edited this post twice but there appears to be no indicator that I did...
Check that...the indicator is there...

Did you run any update on IE lately?
Not that I'm aware...and I don't allow updates to auto-install.
Still unable to edit posts in IE11 (consistently...can do so occasionally...perhaps 1 in 10 times). No issue in Chrome.
VB4 has know issues with IE11, there is a somewhat of a workaround if the tech team decide to look for it.
Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find
Thanks Simon, I appreciate the feedback. At the present, my workaround is to switch to Chrome if I wish to edit a Post...pain...but it works.
Haven't heard much feedback from the Mods, Admins...know they're busy and have bigger issues on their plate than mine.
Good to see you're still with us and working/fighting for we mere mortals.
Im always about folk that use forums having the best experience they can![]()
I see that from your actions...it's much appreciated by folk like me...thank you.![]()
Jaslake, JB faced the same issue. He checked again if the compatibility mode is indeed on and it was off. So he switched it on again and it worked fine for him.
Hi Arlette
I've downgraded to IE10...IE11 was causing too many issues for me. Thanks for the feedback.
