For any incoming or outgoing message, can Outlook automatically format container numbers to make them linkable to the website below? The container number criteria I would use is the string must start with four letters and then continue with at least six numbers.

Maybe. Can you give a concrete example of what the email looks like, with an example container number? Are you trying to edit an email so you can click on the container number and use this web site to track it? To do that we have to know how to use the web site. Can you give an example of a real container number that the site can track?
