    If/then formula modification

    In the attached file there are five columns of data. The data in column "B" is entered manually (don't worry about columns "A" or "C"). I'm looking for a formula that will automatically give a corresponding value in column "E" based upon the value in column "B" (same row). All of the possible data that will be input into column "B" is listed (-350 to -100). So, if a "-240" is entered into a cell in column "B" then in the corresponding row in column "E" a "210" would appear, and so on.

    In column "D" is a formula that is SIMILAR to what I want, but the IF/THEN ranges are not what I'm looking for.

    Can anyone help me modify the formula from column "D" to match the specs listed?

    Thanks!

    See if the blues cells in the file meets the criteria.

    With Vlookup.

    See the attached file.
    Notice my main language is not English.

    I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

    I don't understand. It appears that the formula you used in column "F" gave the results found in column "D". I'm looking for a formula that gives the results in column "E".

    You don't add if the criteria's are correct.

    If so, you get an another answer, then you showed.

    In that case you need to tell us, what the criteria has to be.

    Re: If/then formula modification

    Let's try this simpler. There are 35 possible entries for data in column "B" (-100, -105,...-350). Each of those possibilities are listed in this example. What I'm looking for is a formula that will automatically generate the corresponding number listed in the example's column "C". So, if "B1" = -350 then "C1" = 270. If "B34" = -105 then "C34" = -110.

    Re: If/then formula modification

    I see no logic in the data

    350 => 270
    105 => 110

    If you create the creteria in a table, like I did in my example, you can use VLookup to find the result.

    I don't know how to ask this question any clearer. Also, I'm not sure how to create a table that gives me the values I'm looking for.
