Linking from one sheet to another with a button+link

Basically, I have an MOD email for a cadet organisation. We use SharePoint.

On Excel 365, I have a tracker and I want to create a front sheet using a button. When I create my button (shape) and then go to insert>link, this option is greyed out.

Any ideas? Would an organisation be able to limit the functions on Excel 365? Seems a bit odd

Short answer it should not be greyed out.

Only way someone could cause that would be a macro located in the ThisWorkbook module.

Hmmmm, there are drop-downs in the sheets, with the source of the lists on a different sheet within the workbook??

Generally that wouldn't cause your issue either.
