    Hi,

    I have a percentage for the daily values / values for month, for this I tried to use ALLEXCEPT,

    But I get a denominator which is for All dates, I have got the correct answer using crossjoin and values;

    Having read the docs on ALLEXCEPT I can't see what I'm doing wrong for it not to work? help?

    I've attached a workbook showing both examples, I've just returned the denominator values as they are the problem.

    To try and answer my own question,
    if the year and month are added to the pivot, the ALLEXCEPT works, but ALL , VALUES, needs to be used if the exceptions are not present in the
    visual.

    if anyone has more information please let me know.

    Richard.
