create buttons to copy & paste into a different program

Hello,

paste following code into a module and assign it to your button. It will copy the text from the active cell to the clipboard. After that you can paste it with CTRL+V where ever you want.

I have tried so many clips of code to enable me to process data in vb and then paste (ctrl v) once I execute / exit the code.
When I ctrl v I just get 2 small squares (like non printing characters)
I usae the following and can confirm that S2 takes the value of the ActiveCell - i.e. it appears to be in the clipboard but pasting later fails

If I use the CLIPBOARD option on the HOME tab then there is nothing to paste. If I open the tab I have 2 question marks (??)
Any help appreciated
