Excel Home & Student 2016 has changed to "Read Only". This is devastating to me because my financial data requires constant changes. Excel is now totally useless. How can I disable the read only function forever???

I purchased an online version as a stand alone program, I own it, not rented by the month or year.
If it’s a genuine Office product with a genuine licence, it should work. Contact Microsoft if you need to confirm this. It’s not something we can help with - sorry.
