We have a great many workbook templates that update automatically from our DW using MS Query.

All of the workbooks use filter criteria embedded in the worksheet so that users do not need to be familiar with MS Query (Excel skills are incorrigibly low)

Our IT team plan to roll out office 2016 in Q1 2018. Excel 2016 comes this the much more powerful "Power Query" tool.

I've read how great it is, and look forward to using it. However, I need to confirm that current queries will continue to work in office 2016.

Can anyone point to any resources that might discuss this point??
