Thanks for replying Blastranger,... sorry I'm 4 days late in responding, I've been out of the country.

I don't think I have explained my problem clearly enough...
1. I use Coral Draw 12 (CD12) to show location changes of equipment in our building
2. I use CD12 as I can very quickly drag graphics of the equipment about the plan.
3. In moving the equipment from one location to another they come under the view of one or several of the many cameras we have (over 150 cameras).
4. Although I am tracking around 150 pieces of equipment, usually only 3 or 4 are being moved at any one time
5. I would like to import the ** 12 .cdr file into Excel - having got it there make each piece of equipment a radio button (is that what they are called?) that when the user's mouse rolls over it (or they click on it, if activation by rolling over is not possible) a message box comes up telling them what camera is now looking at that piece of equipment (it will have other information, like DVR and track number of the recorder of that camera)
6. If the radio buttons were numbered (so I assume they would be in some VLOOKUP list) I would then only need to edit the VLOOKUP list to make the changes.

I think that is fairly clear... if not I'll give it another go after you reply.

I have been able to get text boxes to show the data (using insert comment) that I want but they are linked to the cell behind the imported graphic and the cells would not always match the position of the equipment on the graphic.

Many thanks.
