Hi all! My name is Lena and I am pretty excited to have found youI know excel is a powerhouse and I know less than a fraction of what this program can do. Here is something I am working on now. I have 4 columns of data. The first 2 columns are the name and quanity sold of our inventory from Quickbooks (imported in). The other 2 columns are the name and quanity on hand of our inventory also imported from Quickbooks. I was really hoping I could just import them and they would all match up and make it easy to run a report of what percentage of our total inventory we have sold for the year. Unfortunately there are hundreds of items listed in our inventory that did not come in our sales report from quickbooks. I am currently having to cut these extra items out manually and put them on another sheet to mess with later. I need the four columns to stay together so I don't lose the correct numbers that are associated with the names. After I have them all in order I am sorting them by type and then sorting these groups by quanity sold, largest to smallest. My sorting macro works great lol but is there anyway I can get these columns to match up by exact name and keep the quanity columns associated with them to remain with them?? We have thousands of plants and going through these one by one is crazy time consuming, any thoughts?? Thanks in advance!!!
