Confusion even for a long-time user

Hi, I've used Excel for many years and sometimes my issues often relate to how to do things in newer versions that I have been comfortable with in older versions (conditional formatting is a frequent bugbear in that respect!). I look forward to finding answers within your forums to matters that to me should be straightforward yet which somehow seem to elude me.
