Bio Master's Student

Hello all! I'm Shagbark.

I am trying to earn a Master's of Science in Biology. I'm more on the ecology side of things and less molecular. I use excel very often. It seems that there is a stigma against excel in the biology field with most using it solely for data entry. I have personally found excel to be more useful than that.

I have learned a lot in the past year, but I'm now getting to the point where the things I want to do in excel require more than a simple google search. I'm hoping this forum can help me with some of my questions. I use excel 2007 mostly and most of my data is imported from ArcGIS. Is there anyone else here working in a similar field?
