Ok... have any of you had this happen...? I'm sure one of you have... You thought you kinda really knew how to navigate Excel cuz you loved it so much and you could do the one thing that someone taught you to do in Excel really well (lightning speed), so you were the king/queen of Excel while everyone looked on at your mastery of the daunting spreadsheet software, so impressed? That's what I thought about myself (kinda) for years now! Thought, "Oh, there's not much more than what I already know how to do." So, I've squeaked by on that little bit for so long because there honestly hasn't been any challenging tasks... until now...
Now, I have two pretty demanding projects that are here to prove my value one way or the other to a fairly new boss & I've been taking FAR TOO LONG to do the spreadsheets I have created for her because I'm actually copying & pasting stuff like crazy after sorting many different sheets! - Mind you, they are beautifully crafted, labeled, colored & sorted worksheets, but c'mon... !!!, Beauty only takes one through a couple of weeks of faking it, Right!?
Anyway, so glad I found a forum where the very first thing I typed into my Google search, after frantically trying to start at the basics again, brought me to EXACTLY what I needed to know. Thank you all, my Super Heros of Excel... Master of All Mastermind Gurus... I bow down & honor your High Intelligence & only hope I achieve such mastery through osmosis or something. And, I'm praying that because right now I just CAN'T SEEM TO GRASP ALL THE FUNCTIONS, FORMULAS, ETC. (like multiplication in elementary school),I have a feeling in one instant after I finally just give up, I will shout, "AH HA!" so loudly my cats will jump out of their skins & the car alarms around me will sound when I finally just let myself understand the simplicity of the current chaos my mind swims in. Thanks for letting me introduce myself & welcoming me with warm spreadsheet hugs. (I'm also very much of a verbose corn-dog, as you might be able to gather from this lengthy introduction... also a neglected child desperate for attention on the down-low)...
Thx again. <3 HoneyBug (A Bee).
