Hi all,
I tend to work within Excel at the very limit of my knowledge, and once in a while, I trip over that limit. I'm hoping to learn a lot from this community and, with time, maybe contribute. Thank you.

Good day to everybody, I'm very interested to learn more about VBA coding. I have started to learn a lot from you tube videos but obviously instructions are limited. I have created a VBA userform populating data to a excel table. My challenge now is to create a concatenate function that will take the full code value and extract the 1st value in the Combo box
-Code - Textbox1 -[ example- HD005]- There are multiple codes that will be enter and the caracters will sometimes be more than 4 letters
-Type- Combobox1-[Drop down- Returns;Sale;Purchase;Stock-check]
-If I select the [code HD005] and [type Returns the 1st Caracter of the selection type which is "R"]
-The result should dispaly in Textbox8
-Dontadd- Textbox8 - HD005R
