Macro from excel 2013 won't run in excel 2019

Hello, I am reaching out to the experts as I am a generalist in Office and don't use Macro's at all. I have been asked to 'fix' a macro that came from Excel 2013 and won't run in 2019. I get a runtime error '1004' Autofilter method of range class failed when I run it. I converted the macro to .xlsm format and that didn't help. I don't use VBA so can only tell you what it is supposed to do, which is remove blanks from a spreadsheet that has had raw data imported into it from a .tts file. I have two questions for the forum. Is there a simple way to convert older macros so they will run in Excel 2019, and how do I fix this macro. Its a small, simple VBA script from what I see.
