I don't need to work anymore with Excel in my profession. And it was not on a high level either.
But I like to create workbooks, workbooks that are only meaningful to myself, and mostly useless too...
E.g. -Predicting the lottery numbers based on a date or a photograph
-Calculating the tire pressure of my bicycle depending on the load (in different units)
-Keep tracking of how many minutes I work for cleaning the house (because I am a procrastinator)
-Calculate different sizing possibilities for pictures to fit in a certain reserved space
-...
You may ask yourself why I do that?
Because Office programs are also FUN to work with, especially when efficiency or deadlines are not a factor!
It keeps my mind busy if I try to find out how to apply functions, conditional formatting and VBA. I see these things as solving puzzles.
I spent a reasonable time to make my worksheets visually attractive. So I like to work with colors, illustrations, drawings, text alignment, ...
There are countless posts and code snippets on this forum, thanks to all contibutors!
And I hope to share some of my experiences in the future.
