Hello everyone,

I'm glad I found this forum since I have had a difficult time finding people who are conversant with Excel locally here in Provincetown, Cape Cod.
My main use for Excel at this time is to make a data base with information about artworks.

Previously, I used Access and Filemaker Pro but numerous people recommended I switch to Excel because it is more universal and, theoretically, easier to use. I was able to import my data easily and make new entries and create new files but I have not had any luck figuring out how to create layouts and reports to print out. My fields don't have any calculations as yet (although I might want to in the future) - just text and photos.

I'm not sure exactly which sub-forum I should be directing my questions, so I will just jump in and get started.
