Need some help creating a database in Excel

Hello, all. I've just finally decided to join a forum, because in the past I've always been too lazy to address any PC problems directly, and just researched other people's answers..if that makes sense. Anyway..

I'm in very much need of help for a database that I am trying to develop for my English language business out here in Japan, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually don't even know what the sub-forum title would be for this so I'm just going to start a new thread, and if I'm going in the wrong direction please help! Thanks!
