Custom sort w. bracket wont apply correctly

Hello,

I am trying to create a custom list to sort bracket values with.

I have created a custom list with the following values:

0-1,000
1-2,000
2-3,000
3-4,000
4-6,000
6-8,000
8-10,000
10,000+

However, when I apply the custom sort list to my pivot, it shows me the following order:

0-1,000
1-2,000
10,000+
2-3,000
3-4,000
4-6,000
6-8,000
8-10,000

I.e. with the 10,000+ value out of order. The custom sort list has the values listed correctly, and they are all formatted as text before I created the list.

Does anyone have an idea of why the custom sort function isn't working for me?

Sorry for the lack of response.

The issue still persists - I create custom lists, but when I then use them to sort, the sorting does not happen according to how I entered the order.

Point in case:
I have created a custom sort list:
Camper for Life (<100)
Tent Captain (<500)
Totem Alliance (<1,000)
Fire Keepter (<2,000)
Council Ring (<5,000)
Sacehm (<10,000)


When I then apply the sorting to a row of fields, the outcome is:
Camper for Life (<100)
Tent Captain (<500)
Council Ring (<5,000)
Fire Keepter (<2,000)
Freddie's Circle (<20,000)
Rising Suns (<40,000)
Sachem (<10,000)
Totem Alliance (<1,000)
Trail Blazers (40,000+)
