Google Sheets: Subtract from a value (to show how much weight has been lost)

    Hi guys,

    See my sheet here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

In Cell G13, I want to show much weight is lost by..

Taking the start weight (A11) subtracted by the weight lost which I guess would be the sum of: B11:M11?

    Can anyone advise?

    thanks!
    Thanks,

    R.

    Your Google sheet is protected.

However, in Excel, it would be this:

    =A11-SUM(B11:M11)

    So, have you tried that?

    i'm sorry about that Ali.

Unfortunately the solution did not work - however, I have used an add on and summed up the cells which show weight lost (i.e. in green). Thanks for your help anyway!

OK - well, I was going from this:

You did not mention wanting to sum green cells only. My answer would have been very different, had you mentioned this.
