Question Forums Notice - Setting as 'Solved'

    Hi all,

Just wondering if I am missing something here. Logging into the 'Programming' section of the forum this morning I saw the notice above the forum threads:

Phil_V, when you have received a solution to your query or question please take the time to mark your thread solved by going to your post EDIT-GO ADVANCED then at the top of your post you will see the prefix dropdown, just choose SOLVED and then click Save Changes!

    Regards,
    Site Admin.
Seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, except for one thing...
I only seem to have an [Edit] button for a few minutes after posting, after which it disappears. What is the correct method for marking a problem as [Solved] ?

    Thanks
