Web query window through Macro

Hi

i have a requirement to open Web query window with specified website name through Macro, tried to look google search but couldn't find relevant excel the use of ActiveSheet.QueryTables

but unable to figure out how it can be utilized

What exactly are you trying to do/is the purpose for this?

I'm not sure you can open the querytable window from VBA (though I could be wrong) unless you use a sendkeys method which would be a bit unreliable.

You can however open internet explorer and navigate to a website quite simply or update/create a query table with a specified website name.

In short when I click on Data tab - then click "From Web" button

I need this button in Excel sheet area through Macro

I want to open query table popup to be opened through Macro ( Button ) ,, as the problem with opening site from IE doesn't save that authentication information to refresh table next time

and when i open query table manually and navigate to Intranet site and do authentication and close windows..... it allows me to refresh data tables next time onward until authentication timeout occurs
