    Pasting to dynamic Range

    Book2.xls

I'm not sure about how to select and paste a value to a dynamic range. I attached a sample so you can get an idea, but that I want to do is add the "character"(homer, bart) name and date to each event. My report i get is in the format of the sample, and it would have 75-80 "characters". How does one select the range and paste the data, then do it for the next block of data? The number of events changes, and usually the report is somewhere around 20k rows. These would be daily reports, so really the date should be the same for every person actually. Once i can do that, i'd further clean the data by deleting all the rows where there is not a time in column "A", leaving only "activity" data on the worksheet, and removing everything else. I'm kinda hung up on getting the "character's" name and date on each activity row.

I have the code below to grab the name, and paste it next to the date. I dont know if that is even helpful, but thats where i've gotten.

It would be better if you attached a workbook with a "before" sheet, and an "after" sheet, so we can see what you actually want.
