Find Data Between Sheets

Hi Macro world-

I am new to macro's but I do believe that I can utilize a macro to help me find data inside a workbook.


Here is my situation:

I have a workbook that has data located inside another workbook. I want to have the data populate itself inside the good workbook.


The workbook I am looking to have all the data populate is named by the date (ex. todays book, 03192014)

column A = QCI Account
column B = Manager
column C = (blank)
column D = Account
column E = Overdraft

I have another workbook named - Copy of Portfolio Register Updated
-inside this workbook I have the account listed in column D from the other workbook in column D (custodian), I am looking for a function to find the same Account between workbooks and once the account is found I need columns A & B (Code & Mgr) inside this workbook (Copy of Portfolio Register Updated) copied into columns A & B inside the other workbook above.



Im sure this is worded terribly for the experts, buy hey I gotta start somewhere.

I can attach the workbooks if that will help, please let me know
