Countdown Timer Linked to another cell

    Hi,

I have a sheet which has a multiple columns each linked together by formulas. I need a count down timer in column K which will countdown based on the value in Column I which is listed in HH:MM:SS (it is 130+ hours, don't know if this has any impact).

Column I changes based on the values in columns A and B - i need the timer to reset every time a new set ** values is inserted and to continue even if excel is closed.

    Thank you,

    Hi npieko,

Very interesting problem. Try out the attached file which tries to live up to your specifications above. I hope you realize that a workbook can't run when it is closed, but my solution acts like it ran when it was closed, when it re-opens.

If the file does what you want, and you can't port the code to your application, post a sample workbook, and I'll try to adapt the code to your file.

    Good luck.
