Hi,
I have , within a workbook multiple worksheets which have multiple cells with a certain DATA VALIDATION MESSAGE.
I am trying to write a macro to sum up all those cells which have a common DATA VALIDATION MESSAGE.
Any good ideas?

Hi plans and welcome to the forum,
I would have bet this couldn't be done but here it is. I couldn't have done this last week. I've been learning more about Array formulas.
Change any of the values next to my "Data Message" and/or add more of them in my little ranges on any of the sheets and see if it still adds up.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Thanks for the response; I could use this idea, however, it needs some adjustments:
I don't know in which worksheets and in what ranges are the values; they coul be anywhere in the workbook, so, I am thinking about a macro which would search through all the cells in all worksheets.
Is tis possible?
