Talking VB Script to save excel file appending Month and Year in the filename

    Hi,

Need assistance in creating VB script for saving an excel file that appends month and year.

Say my filename is: Sales Report + (January 2014).

Filename when saved should look like this: Sales Report (January 2014)

    Thanks!
    Regards,

    Alex

Re: VB Script to save excel file appending Month and Year in the filename

    Hi,

Try this workbook. The required code is in the ThisWorkbook module. This will duplicate the file and not delete the old one, but let me know if you would like the file to REPLACE the existing file and I will edit my code.

    Hope this helps
