Find the next blank cell in a row from a specific value in a column

I have a macro that needs to:
1)find a value in a column
2)find next blank cell along in row of that value.

The code is as follows.
Dim r1 As Range

It find the column no problem but i cant workout how to find the next blank row to paste the value in to fro step 2 of the process.

Any help greatly appreciated
