Double Click function then lock on closing worksheet?

Hello... I am inputting a date into a cell(s) when it is doubleclicked.
I would like some way of locking that date so that when the worksheet is closed
and then re-opened ... you can not adjust the dates already set.
I hope this makes sense! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!

OH... I am using the following code to add the date to the cell when it is doubleclicked:

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code.

Posting code between
Please Login or Register to view this content.
tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, it also maintains VBA formatting.

Highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here

I corrected it ... at least I think this is correct! And I solved this issue on my own!
Thank you!
