Removing blinking cursor from a text box on my splash screen

I was hoping someone would know how to get rid of the blinking cursor in a text box. I made a splash screen, added a text box, increased the font size to maximum, and when I run it there is a maximum sized blinking cursor at the end of the line of text. Just looks bad on the splash screen. Is there a hide cursor command that I can use? Or is there a better way to add text that I (obviously) didn't use? Any help would be appreciated.
