VBA help..Need a code to input data & have it clear but save to another cell (make sense?)

Hi everyone,

At work we are doing "Client Satisfaction Surveys" and I am in charge of inputting all the surveys into a data base.. Although I am good at data entry.. I don't know much about VBA (don't even know what it stands for tbh) or creating a database.

Each question on our survey is a yes or no answer... and I would like to input a "1" under Yes each time we get a yes or a "1" under No each time we get the answer No.

However, I would like for the "1" I input to disappear and then be automatically added to the cell underneath to total how many Yes's and how many No's we receive for each question.


..So for example if you open the attachment, under Ana's section, we have had 3 surveys what have answers Yes to Overall Satisfaction.. what I would like is for the 3 to appear in C4 so that C3 is where I put in a 1 each time we get another answer Yes to that question, then have C3 be cleared, and added to C4 automatically. I would like this for each question and each answer.. so for the first section, I would like this for C3 to P3. and then I would want this to happen for each staff member section (so also for Jenna from C11 to P11, and Jasmine, Kateryna, etc.)


I have received help from another user to do this with Cells Q3, Q10, Q17, etc. so I know what I am trying to do is possible!

Secondly, is there a way for each number inputted into Q3 be saved (so I am able to count how many 5's someone receives, and how many 7's and how many 10's, etc.) I was thinking making 10 columns (from S3 to AA3) numbered 1-10 and if there is a way for each time I add a number into Q3, it be saved under these columns. For example, if Ana gets 2 ratings of 5 and 1 rating of 10, I put this into Q3 (to get the average) and then it be saved in the S3 to AA3 cells... so a 2 in the column numbered 5, and a 1 under 10.

I know I am asking for a lot but I know absolutely nothing about this stuff and I would make my life so much easier if it is possible!!

Thank you so much it works exactly how I needed it.... I am wondering if it is possible to get cell B4 to update (+1) automatically when I input any number into Q3?
