date value of a column and then get result

hi , i need coding in command button , when i like to click it , an inputbox should appear that ask me to enter the date , then another inputbox appears that ask me to put a string value any from column A , then coding will work and matches the input date with column B and shows the result in msgbox how many times Yes appears in column A or No appears in msgbox .etc
