How to make multiple values automatically show up somewhere else

The title is the best description I could give. I have no better way of explaining this. I've Googled this so many times, but I always come up empty and I'm sure that's because I don't know how to describe the issue.

Please see the attached example spreadsheet I just threw together to give a quick idea of what my other spreadsheet is like. The concept is pretty much the same.

    Book1.xlsx

I'm trying to get the values from the cells highlighted in yellow (C12, F12, and I12) to fall in line in range K3:K31. And if I have to use some type of Command Button to do it, I also need to be able to make it happen over and over from those highlighted cells, because I might have to use each of those sections many times.

I hope this is making sense. If not, please ask questions and I will gladly clarify the best I can. I've been trying to do this for a couple of years and I finally decided to ask for help with it.

    Thank you!

Would putting =C12 in K3, =F12 in K4 and =I12 in K5 do what you want?

Maybe Im missing something? Are you saying that you want C12 to = the value in K3 etc? Or. how do you arrive at 0.52 etc?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: How to make multiple values automatically show up somewhere else

Thanks for your questions, guys. Mikerickson, no, unfortunately it's not that simple. FDibbins, you probably are missing something, because as I mentioned, I am having a very hard time explaining what I'm trying to do. So, in this case, I was just throwing numbers in there. Nothing about those numbers represents anything real. I don't have a better way of doing it without posting my real spreadsheet, but the problem is, I can't do that as it belongs to my employer and is full of sensitive information. Given that, let me try with just a screenshot (please see attached). Attachment 288504

So, in this image, you can see all the blue cells are showing a volume loss. The final blue cell, AD37, is the only one I don't want to include because that cell is doing a sum of the values in range AD3:AD36. The cells in range AD3:AD36 need to include the values from all the other blue cells to the left of that range. But the thing is, I think I need to "send" those values to that range, perhaps using a Command Button.

When I change variables in any of the light gray cells from column C to column AA, the values in the blue cells are going to change. I then want those new values to join the other values in the gray cells in range AD3:AD36. And then I would end up with a total loss in cell AD37 for the day, which I could then type into my other reports. It just gets old taking the values from all those blue cells and entering them into range AD3:AD36, only to realize that I forgot to enter one or more of them and I don't know which ones. Then I have to go back through and re-figure everything, which is a major pain. Simplification is what I'm going for here.

I realize this is extremely confusing. I can picture the entire thing, I just don't know how to make it happen... and unfortunately if I can't make you all understand what it is I'm trying to do, it's never going to happen. If you all were standing next to me, I could point to my screen and have you understanding in a few seconds, but unfortunately, as "wordy" as I tend to be, even I'm at a loss on this one. So I hope this post explained it better, but if not, again, ask away and I'll do my best to explain more.

I'm sorry, but it's not fixed after all. He thought he had it fixed. He recorded a simple macro but in the end it didn't do what we were trying to get it to do. I can't believe something that seems so simple has been such a major problem to me for so long.
