Calculating cells based on the condition of color, but color is chosen via DROPDOWN choice
.....so it doesn't work. It will work if I manually select a cell color, but that is impossible for this purposeI need certain cells to calculate into another cell per the color that is affixed to the dropdown choice.
This VBA worked for NON-DROPDOWN colored cells:

How does this "dropdown" affect the color. Is there a macro that changes the color based upon the dropdown value, is it based upon conditional formatting (hope not), or does that drop down have an actual color in it (such as blue). Submitting a copy of your workbook might be best.
